Fine arts – Exhibition linked to the Lab Competition

After sixteen years expertly led by Ludovic Chavarot, the Anatomy of the Lab exhibition moves to a new location, taking over Le Lieu-dit, but the direction remains the same. The Lab continues to be a space for art and experimentation, image and sound, and with this exhibition, it adds a graphic dialogue between visual artists and the selected films.

The artists will engage, among other things, with the documentary genre, which once again proves this year that it has gained aesthetic autonomy, becoming a favored tool for exploring values, conflicts, and memory.

Among the participating artists, Lebanese artist Brahim Samaha (creator of the poster for the Lebanese retrospective) will present a work, as will Gabriel Böhmer (United Kingdom), who has been selected multiple times for Clermont (including this year) and will, for the first time, be part of the exhibiting artists.
