Self-service bicycles have been made available to the public by the SMTC-AC (Syndicat mixte des transports en commun de l’agglomération clermontoise) to encourage alternative modes of transport to the car. They make it possible to get around the city quickly without worrying about parking or traffic jams.
C.Vélo has 57 stations and 680 self-service bicycles available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The network comprises more than 400 km of regular lines, including: 1 tramway line, 24 regular bus lines, 1 Moovicité transport-on-demand service for all or specialised for people with reduced mobility, and 1 BEN night bus which operates on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings during school term time.
