In the early 1960s, at a time of independence in West Africa, a young French officer is commissioned by the French administration to find a missing missionary priest. Amid mistrust and indifference, silence and prejudice, the investigation takes the young officer far from the light of the shores, where day and night merge.

Today, visually impaired teenager Erwan can't wait to get to school to declare his love for Agathe. Unfortunately, he first has to share a medical transport van with David, a wheelchair-bound suck-up, who tries everyday to make friends with Erwan, quite unsuccessfully. When David tries to make sure they never arrive, war is declared.

It's a hot day, as is often the case in Ouagadougou. It's also a very special day for this group of women. A long-awaited getaway, a moment of discovery and a break from the hustle and bustle of the world and their lives.

Winter is here. In order to survive, Fuseline, the little ermine, forced by the lack of food, flees her wild environment and settles near an isolated farm with chickens. Her arrival threatens the precarious existence of the man who lives there.

Vadim is an underground car park attendant, desperately in need of sun and company. He goes to the tanning salon where he meets Léonore, his cabin neighbour, whose presence is heartwarming. But they are separated by a wall: although he only knows her voice, Vadim would like to meet her in person.
